Hi All, I am pretty new to Navision.
I put my Navision 2016 on Azure and connect to Azure SQL,
Everything work fine, the RTC and Web Client connected in the Office
Problem happen when I use the Development Environment,
I can connect to the Azure SQL with database admin account,
everything show, but when I want to add or modify a table and compile,
It said I cannot connect to the Server Instance,
When I check the server instance in Database information,
the Server instance show the Internal computer name of the NAV Server.
The internal name can never be touch (except setting up a VPN)
I tried to fake it by creating a DNS zone in the environment, or modify the HOSTS file.
both of them doesn't do the trick.
Tools -> Options and modify the connection string doesn't work either...
Doing some research I know this entry come from the Server Instance table
and It is automatically registered when the Navision service is Start,
I don't think modify it manually can be a solution..because this entry updating every minute..
