Hi,
Strange problem here. I've installed NAV 2016 cumulative update 1 on a navision-server. Installed the client too on that server. It opens fine.
Now when I install the client on the terminal server the installation seems succesfull, but when I start the client it crashes.
In event viewer there's a ".NET runtime"-error.

Event ID: 1026
Task Category: None
Level: Error
Keywords: Classic
User: N/A
Computer: TerminalServer.customer.local
Description:
Application: Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.IO.FileLoadException
Stack:
at Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.UI.WinForms.WinFormsOneNoteServiceHandler..ctor(Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.UI.WinForms.ClientSession)

at Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.WinClient.StartWinFormsClient.RunCore()
at Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.WinClient.StartWinFormsClient.Run(Boolean)
at Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.Program.Main(System.String[])
First I thought the problem was a blocked downloaded file, but after deinstalling and installing un unblocked cu1, the error still exists.
Restart did not work.
So eventually deinstalled cu1 and installed the first release again.
Now it's working again.
De terminal server is a Windows Server 2008 R2.
At another customer cu1 works fine on all servers and pc's.
Could it be a Windows Server 2008 R2 problem? Yes, it could off course, but anyone experienced this too perhaps?
