Azure Application Gateway, and using same port for Web Services and Web Client

We have a client who will be using Dynamics NAV 2016 on Azure.

We are considering:

1. using the Azure Application Gateway - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/application-gateway/application-gateway-introduction
2. using port 8080 both for web services and web client (so that third parties will not need to open non-default ports)

Would this work out of the box, or could there be problems?
