Hello, We have created a bespoke permission set, which allows a user to do some basic tasks on a Purchase Order, mainly view it. However the column 'Expected Receipt Date' is not view able on the Purchase Order Line by this permission set, strangely it does show within the Purchase Order Archives.
Is anyone aware of which table controls this being viewable or not, i'll been unable to find it.

Hi all

Still searching for the answer but hoping someone on here can help.

I've installed Dynamics BC on premise on a clients server and it's all working fine except for the web client.

As there are multiple companies, the url I'm using is as follows:

http://server:8080/bc-uk-live/?company=CRONUS UK Ltd.

Where bc-uk-live is the service.

Any clues would be a great help.

hello Good day

I'm trying to to run the Mobile Application of NAV in IOS/apple and it works fine and good.

sadly, when I tried to run it in android, the application gives the error of server connection timeout occurred

the certificate I installed in IOS/Apple is the same certificate I installed in android.

Any Idea why is this happening ?

Picture is not appear in preview mode. How can I solve this?

Hey, i want to add in the trigger "OnOpenPage" in a codeunit the possibility to launch a shortcutKey of nav, for exemple : OnOpenPage --> F1 (open the help page)
is it possible ?

Hi, I have a customer that wants to complete a process involving separate Locations within the business. They don't wish to use subcontracting. How would you facilitate this so that a transfer order was created to take the stock from A-B and then back from B-A ?.

Hello, maybe someone of you has the same problem.
We must have a lot of different CU versions on a VM, from NAV 2013 - NAV365. But since NAV2018 CU5 it seems that is not possible to work still with the mibuso Service Administration Tool. The Problem is that the RTC and "Classic" Client crashes. I can delete the config files, so it is possible to start the clients over the exe directly, but for example if I click in the development environment on desgin in code unit, the client crashes.
I tested this on other VMs with the same result.
I think the only solution is to work with docker or VMs with only one NAV Version.

Hi,

I have created a miscellaneous job type that runs CU99001456: Statement-Calculate and when I run the job either as NAS user or by pressing button "Run Now" on job, I got an error:

Record(99001586) is not compatible with Codeunit.Run(Record(99001487)).

NAV 2016, LS Retail 9.00.10.319

Code breaks here:


I have done same on LS NAV 2009 without any issues.

Any ideas are welcomed.

Hey guys,
after knowing, how to use all standard objects in my test codeunit, I would like to test, if my implemented fields on the page "item card" exist and in that case, the ouput should be true. I am doing this for my extension, I have developed. For that kind of testing I would like to use the standard codeunit "Assert". Should I use the function IsTrue?

Or do you have another idea, how to test that?

Hi,

I have installed CU01 Dynamics 365 Business Central on premise version for AU on my laptop.
I would like to explore the feature of flows on Item card. Please see the below picture.
Its asking for Azure Authorization. I created trail account in azure and authorized the "Windows Azure Service Management API".
But still not working. anybody worked with flows with business central on-premise. Can anybody advise on this. Thank you.

This question is for check stub report, I want to print check signature to the check with MICR font at bottom (this is a RDLC report). I add field to store check signature file (Blob field in cside) and other fields for MICR information. But looks like the AL disallow me to add Blob field in the page directly, it always show me the error and cannot compile the extension package. Second is related with MICR font file. The MICR font file is an additional file, I don’t think the Dynamics business central online can print the MICR information without the font file installed.

Do you have any solution for this?

Dear Team

i have one scenario related to Service Order ,i need solution on that.

Customers come to repair his computer ,Technician check and he find RAM issue ,this RAM in company assets

hence he created PO using that Particular fixed assets its approved and released .

now i need to convert this item to as inventory Item and register in service order .because in service order no option to select fixed assets .what is the best practice to solve this case please help me .its in Navision 2018

I am making a DLL to change the font format, size, color. . . for each field and I would like to know if it is possible to pass these parameters through C/AL to the DLL, so I don't have to be modifying the DLL for each change.

If someone has a guide or could explain it to me.

Hi,

I'm upgrading data from NAV 2016 to BC 13.1(13.0.25924.0).
Following the steps on docs.microsoft.com I've now come to the point
that the control add-ins must be registered. This does not seem to work anymore.
From the Webclient nor the RTC.

I can select the .zip file that contains it, but it does not result to a registered line in the
Control Add-ins page. There is some blob data in the newly created line, but key values and
other data that shoult be evaluated stays empty.

In between message appears that import has been succesful.

After:



As you can see the boolean appears for imported data, but the dll's are not evaluated correctly.

Dit anyone encounter this problem, and solved it?

Hi

Does anyone know why NAV act like that when job queue gets an error, then I do not see older log entries ?

Look pics:
I got error.
I see only one row with error.


When I delete "ID" filter and filter it by Description, then I see all this job log entries, what I actually need.


Why or how nav show it like that ?
Somehow it only show last row, if there is error, why or how to fix ?
