RTC - Memory Leak

After having worked for a while, without a systemic situation, I get the following error.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Microsoft Dynamics NAV is close to running out of system resources. To prevent the possible loss of unsaved data, close all unused Microsoft Dynamics NAV windows now.
OK

After closing the client and I get the following warning
Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Microsoft Dynamics NAV has run out of system resources and has been shut down. Unsaved data may have been lost.
OK

I can not find documentation about.

Report Page Header Not Printing in Every Page?

Hi experts,

I have an issue with a report in RTC.

When the data in the report is limited to 1 page everything goes fine but when the data in the report exceed one page, the page header dosen't get printed in the next page.

Is there any way to resolve the same.

Hello
I want to add compônent Help server on already installed NAV2016
But I get the following error :

How can I install cumulative update to NAV 2017?

Hello,

This will be the first time when I need to perform cumulative update on NAV environment 2017. How this looks like right now:

I've got installed NAV 2017 Version 10.0.16177, and Demo Database on two languages FI / ENG - nav is "clear" what means there is zero modifications on it.

What need to be done I need to upgrade it to newest cumulative version (update) of NAV 2017 (probably 19831). In my local resources I've got two .bak files - W1 and FI for platform version 10.0.19831

Could you tell me how it should be updated? I thought I can restore that database (FI one) and then choose it inside dev environment?

Using CU1290 "The expected data was not received from the web service"

Hi all, i am trying to consume a NAV webservice using CU 1290, and following the example in CU 248. (The purpose of consuming a NAV webservice in NAV is to handle functions of multiple different companies from one single company ) .

I enabled tracelog and was able to review the FullRequest file to see the XML content.

I created a simple function in codenunit 50000 WSMgt, the function is called CreateNewCust and accept CustName as parameter. This is simply for testing.

However, i keep getting "The expected data was not received from the web service" error in NAV.
When I copy and paste the XML Request into SOAP UI and it runs without issue........any idea why NAV doesnt like this ?

Below is the FullRequest.XML file i captured by turning on Tracelog.

Events on TableTrigger and Suspend Messages

Hi,

when you use events on table trigger e.g. OnBeforeModifyItem and the function in the codeunit uses messages on some circumstances.

Is it possible to Suspend these messages like former developing by using a function SuspendMessage or by using a parameter?

(Dynamics NAV 2017 is used)

Hello everyone, i am currently using NAV 2017 RTC (Online).

I did apply a Cumulative update to my server/ client .

After the update , GDPR modules have been installed (as they should).

But in my role center, when i open activities i get the following error :
You do not have the following permissions for Codeunit Data Classification Mgt. : Execute


Any ideas?

NAV2016 - Report is printed or saved as pdf ?

Dear all,

I have a Report, that uses a logo.. everything works fine, but now I have the request to hide the Logo when the Report is printed, but show it when the Repost is saved as pdf using the Option "Save as pdf" from the Request Page.

How can I do this ? Any Possibility to set a Variable at Request Page, depending which Option is chosen (or Button is pressed) ?

Is there something missing in configuration setup or any help files to copy?

im trying to access nav 2018 codeunit web service from android/php (which env is on different server) but keep getting error

" Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://localhost' is therefore not allowed access. The response had HTTP status code 401."

NAV 2018 web client

Having issues with NAV 2018 webclient installation, the issue is the setup says it has been installed but in IIS I do not see the site link and also in wwwroot folder I do not see the NAV webclient folder, although help server is installed ok. All the web components and prereqs been installed ok as well.

Has something been changed for NAV 2018 webclient? I never had this issue before. Help will be appreciated.

Hello,
We are trying to test out, and get to grips with, the MTD development in Business Central (On Premise) - We are following the Microsoft online guides but whenever we try to "request Authorisation code" on Oauth2 setup (using the test api https://test-api.service.hmrc.gov.uk/) for the HMRC sandbox we get the error {"error":"invalid_request","error_description":"client_id is invalid"}

If we point the service to the live endpoint https://api.service.hmrc.gov.uk/ the client ID is correct - the issue is that we want to test it with the test-api endpoint but we cannot.

The Client ID and secret are the ones published by Microsoft on Partnersource but there doesn't seem to be a different client id for the live/test environments

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Extrange problem with card pages in Click Once installation

Hi everyone, and happy new year,

I've just found an extrange issue with a NAV2018 clickOnce installation into a customer's laptop. Just in that laptop.

As you can see, the list is shown reduced, even having a big blank space at the bottom of the page. As I've said before, it's a clickOnce installation, and just on that laptop, so I think that is something about the laptop configuration, but don't know what... Any idea?
